We saw a few of the first lectures in Physics class. Gotta admit, crazy theories, I wonder how these people come up with stuff like this....ew boy.F

Observation....

Fritz Swicky noted back in 1933 that galaxies rotate far too quickly and that something other than gravity was holding them together (he was ignored) Vera Rubin (1970 I think) rediscovered that stars on the outer edges of galaxies were rotating just as quickly as those closer to the center, they should be being flung into space (people started to listen)

Its now widely accepted that 23% of all matter that exerts a gravitational force is completely invisible (not in the same way that a black hole is invisible) , you can see right through this freaky stuff.

Yeah, just when we think that dark matter is crazy, now biologists are talking about alien-like creatures living on earth. The only reason we haven't identified them is because they are too small to even see. Saw this headline on yahoo about a week ago. There are probably billions of creatures right in front of me...who knows

I haven't seen the headlines but its a fairly old debate that "living" organisms exist that are much smaller than a virus, nanobes or something stupid. But self replication doesn't mean its alive. Modern tunneling microscopes are amazing and are beginning to be used to look at tissue more easily so who knows we may get a really good look at one of these things in the next few years.

Yup, things are getting exciting in the sciences.
