For free users it was fine having to wait to download, or you could use a proxy, now they have started sending it in short bursts, 5 seconds of data 20 seconds of nothing. Avoid them like the plague.

all the anons use rapidshit for posting stolen $cientology pdfs etc, i wish they wouldn't. by the time i get to see the link, the download limit has been reached or something crap.

I do not think RS realised how popular they would become. In the begining ( yes after the universe was created) there were just a couple of these sites. RS have become the victim of their own success. Other hosters are coming up all the time but even these have started to penalise free downloads by limiting the amount of bandwith.

I would want to use these others all the time but they all have a limit of about 100 GB for free users. RS do not limit the amount of storage only the number of files, currently at 10,000. It is stupid to think that we will all open premium accounts with ALL of them. It is either that or we can stop spewing out so much porn.
